2012 Triathlon Camps
Written by Jennifer Smith Saturday, 19 November 2011 16:10
The company Reach4the Alps who sucessfully trialled Triathlon camps in the alps this year are running a full schedule of training holidays for 2012, here are the details...
Tri4theAlps is based in Morzine, Portes du Soleil between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc; just an hour from Geneva airport and is one of the most stunning locations anywhere for an eye-opening approach to long-weekend training in Europe. Not only is the area 'Alpine Beautiful' but the quality of accommodation at Cairn Lodge, restaurant-standard food & drink, transfers, beds, towels, sauna & hot-tub and of course, the training - are simply superlative. This is 'Boulder for Ordinary Mortals' and we have set out to create the perfect training camp environment with personal attention from our experienced, BTF-qualified coaches of Tri One.
You can see more about the area, the Triathlon service and get a 360 degree view of Cairn Lodge at: https://reach4thealps.com/Summer/Triathlon.php <https://reach4thealps.com/Summer/Triathlon.php%20>
Although any group or club can organise their own holiday or training camp, we currently have 2 organised camp dates:
· Wednesday 16 - Sunday 20 May 2012 - tune-up after winter training and prior to the main 2012 race season
· Thursday 14 - Monday 18 June 2012 - with Morzine Cyclosportive on Sunday 17 June, perfect preparation for middle or long-distance racing
We have paid great attention to value-for-money: 4 nights luxury half-board accommodation and 5 days of comprehensive training with just about everything you will need (including all coaching) for €480 Euros. Easyjet flights with a bike and one piece of luggage cost approximately £125.00 at the moment. You will return with added physical and mental fitness for race-season plus an experience of the Alps, which will last a lifetime.

It's all part of building toughness in the winter. But I usually save those rides for when I'm solo. - Re:Winter Sunday Rides - Fegan's annual invite
Do you mean eye balls out or balls out? I'm really not sure of the benefits of balls out.
