The Tempo Run

This is a key running session for all runners, it teaches the body to use the oxygen for metabolism more efficiently. Doing it properly you need to put in enough time at the right intensity. Typically 20 minutes is sufficient. Enjoy.

Run Session:

15 min. Slow warm up

20 min tempo run – this should feel comfortably hard, you know you’re working, but you’re not racing.

15 min. cool down
