Club training

Edinburgh Triathletes seeks to provide an inclusive training environment within one of the largest and most successful triathlon clubs in Scotland. We organise two premier events in the triathlon calendar namely the Gullane Beach triathlon and the New Year’s Day triathlon, and it is thought that the first triathlon in Scotland was organised by ET members.

This session runs all year round accept when the weather prevents us! Depending on numbers we may split into groups by ability, otherwise we ride as a bunch and the ride leader ensures no one gets left behind. The ride leaves from the Dalkeith High School front entrance and typically takes 2 – 2.5 hours.

These evening runs are suitable for complete novices through to more experienced runners so everyone is welcome to come along. If you have never run with a group before and are new to running then this is the ideal place for you to start.
